The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about exploration and building confidence. You will complete five adventure dives, including a deep dive and an underwater navigation dive, plus three additional dives of your choosing.
Choose from specialties like peak performance buoyancy, night diving, wreck diving, drift diving, underwater photography, and more. Your instructor will guide you through each adventure, helping you build skills and discover what excites you most about diving.
Frequently Asked Questions
My schedule is booked! When can I take a class?
We dive year round! Summer is our busiest season, so be sure to check our schedule and reserve your spot early. Thanks to Dry Suits, we even dive through the colder months.
Can I buy food close by?
For large classes we may provide snacks. If you have special dietary requirements please pack a lunch. There is a shop close to the dive sites with typical convenience store food.
Do I need to pay for Parking?
State Parks in Arkansas require a $5 day pass (paid at the entrance) to help keep our parks beautiful, clean, and provide bathrooms. Please bring cash for the pass.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes absolutely. Using your own equipment whenever possible will let you feel more comfortable in the water. Please bring older equipment to our shop first to have it checked and serviced before your dive.
How much time should I allow?
Adventure dives are typically conducted on weekends. Travel time to dive sites is about 2 hours. Plan for 6 hours or longer per dive day.
