About This Tour

When the sun goes down, the lake comes alive in a completely different way. Night diving is one of the most memorable experiences a diver can have. Your primary dive light cuts through the darkness to reveal catfish prowling the bottom, crayfish venturing out from their daytime hiding spots, and bass suspended motionless in the water column.

We begin each night dive tour with a thorough briefing on light signals, buddy communication, navigation techniques, and emergency procedures specific to low-visibility conditions. Every diver carries a primary light, a backup light, and a surface marker. We dive familiar sites that we know well during the day so the focus can be on the experience rather than route-finding.

Night dives are typically scheduled to begin at dusk, allowing you to descend in fading light and experience the transition to full darkness underwater. Open Water certification and at least a few daytime dives under your belt are recommended before joining a night dive tour.
