Rebreather Trial

Rebreather Trial

Curious about rebreather diving? Try closed-circuit diving in a controlled environment. Experience the silence and extended bottom times that rebreather diving offers.

About This Tour

Rebreather diving is the future of underwater exploration, and our trial experience gives you a taste of what it is all about. Unlike open-circuit scuba where every exhale sends a stream of noisy bubbles to the surface, a closed-circuit rebreather recycles your breathing gas. The result is near-total silence underwater and dramatically longer dive times.

During the rebreather trial, you will learn the basics of how a closed-circuit unit works, practice breathing on the loop in shallow water, and then take a supervised dive to experience rebreather diving firsthand. We handle all the equipment setup and monitoring so you can focus on the experience.

No prior rebreather experience is needed. You just need to be a certified diver who is comfortable in the water. Many divers who try a rebreather for the first time describe it as a revelation, and more than a few have gone on to pursue full rebreather certification afterward.
